The weekly All Acoustic Jam Session takes place Every Thursday evening, 6pm till dusk, May thru September, rain or shine at Dowdy Park in Summerville.

Bring your acoustic instrument, a picnic supper and a lawn chair and settle in for an evening of family entertainment. If you can play, sing or just love to listen to Bluegrass, Gospel, Folk or Country Music, you're invited to join in the fun.  There are no scheduled performers, pickers will be scattered throughout the park. 

This Free Event is organized by the Chattooga County Tourism Committee and the City of Summerville.  Financial Support provided by Tillotson Menlo Charitable Foundation and the Chattooga County Tourism Committee.  Pickin' In The Park Summerville is a member of the Southeastern Bluegrass Association (SEBA).  All park rules will be observed, no vendors, no alcoholic beverages allowed.  Visitors are urged to patronize local restaurants.
